刘一马是个校园乐队主唱，毕业后沦落成了一个靠黑白喜事为生的屌丝主持人；突然接到校园初恋夏天的电话邀请主持她的离婚派对，刘一马不知所措，回忆起了当年的校园往事；离婚派对在一片热闹声中被夏天搞砸了，刘一马打抱不平，趁机狠踹了夏天老公郑大发，带着夏天扬长而去。郁闷的刘一马来找杨金义倾诉，却在澡堂里误伤了按摩的不良社会头目金链子大哥，最终被金链子大哥敲诈勒索十万；刘一马吓得到处筹钱还债，周围朋友各个人间蒸发了一样躲避，无奈刘一马向曾经的校园乐队成员借钱，已是搓澡工的杨金义，跳艳舞的文敬，怕老婆的赵建业纷纷出手相救，四人重组乐队参加比赛，最终赢了奖金，还了金链子大哥的钱，四人找回了生活自信，重拾了情感与理想。
