杂志编辑陆克过着一线两点的平静生活。他发现已婚主编马堂和女秘书关系暖昧，便把这个秘密告诉了任家仕。任家仕得知后以陆克的名义要挟马堂。陆克为帮助学生黄雅娇从家里拿了2万元借给她开美容院。妻子周桂玉发现钱少了，又从马堂处得知陆克以秘密要挟马堂……
